The Trust will determine the admissions arrangements for The Sheriff School in collaboration with the Local Authority.
Our inclusive admissions process will at all times be open, transparent and fair, and will meet the requirements of the National School Admissions Code, the Appeals Code and admissions legislation.
The published admission number (PAN) for the school will be 180. The school will admit up to this number to Year 7 each year and when full, the school will have 1,200 pupils on roll, including 300 in the Sixth Form.
In accordance with the law, children with an Education, Health and Care Plan will be admitted to the school where the Local Authority has specifically named The Sheriff School as the most appropriate placement.
Our full Admissions Policy will be available here soon.
